The start of this trial is at Pico Alto, in the parking area for the vantage point. It is a single track, part of which goes through a wood of Japanese red cedar. It has a very steep incline. It is advisable to use downhill or enduro bikes, because the earth track is very soft, with areas of stone towards the end. It adheres well when dry but is very slippery when wet.
